The Infamous Masterson’s , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my most recent experience at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I discovered behind its doors was appalling and beyond comprehension .

From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was clear that sanitation was not a priority at this bar . The ground was covered in grime , and a pungent odor of decaying beverages and filthy restrooms suffused the entire establishment . Smelling a mixture of ammonia , decay and a sickly smell. His presence at the bar often seemed closer to that of a predatory presence than a genial proprietor .
